Mayreau

Really small, the island is populated by the descendants of the slaves of the french colonists, but it has always been considered not adapt to a tourist development due to the little drinkable water.

The initiative of a catholic monk involved the inhabitants, who practiced the fishing as only nourish system, to build a main sewer on a hill.

Few years later a canadian businessman starti to build a tourist structure that attracted the first hosts.

From the poor wooden houses of the original inhabitants, there appeared elegant buildings, shops and restaurants.

Beaches, framed by palms, face pure and clear waters.
